Meet Ji

Ji is a board-certified physician assistant. Originally from Charlotte, NC, she remained in her hometown to complete her undergraduate education. Ji received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. She continued her education by receiving her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Richmond, VA.

Before entering the Physician Assistant program, Ji gained two and a half years of experience as a medical assistant with a dermatology practice in Chapel Hill, NC. Once she earned her master’s degree, Ji began her career in psychiatry, before returning back to her dermatology roots in 2024. 

Ji is a member of professional organizations, including the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA), the Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI), and the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA). Her areas of expertise include skin cancer surveillance and treating acne, warts, eczema, and psoriasis. 

Ji is dedicated to the early prevention and detection of skin cancers, and she takes pride in helping patients achieve their best selves by finding effective treatments tailored to their skin. Ji emphasizes evidence-based approaches to managing various skin conditions and is passionate about educating her patients to empower them in making informed decisions about their health.
